Retirement of Legacy Coax Cable services to begin on 5/31/24

Due to the recent completion of our advanced Fiber-to-the-Home network in several markets - and the pending completion of fiber networks in other existing markets - Swyft will begin the process of retiring services delivered via legacy coax cable.

On 5/31/2024, Swyft will begin the process of retiring legacy cable TV packages.

This includes the Digital Basic, Digital Expanded, and Digital Premier TV services. The change will affect any Swyft customer who currently has legacy cable TV service. In markets where no options for fiber service will be available, all TV services will be discontinued. Credits will be applied where applicable.

All legacy cable TV services are moving to the SwyftTV streaming platform.

To continue receiving local stations, cable networks, and premium channels via Swyft, customers who currently have a legacy cable TV package will need to add SwyftTV streaming service to their account. SwyftTV is available to Swyft customers with either fiber or cable internet service. Instructions on how to switch are detailed below.

Also beginning on 5/31/2024, Swyft will be retiring Cable Internet service only in markets where fiber is currently available.

To continue receiving internet service, customers in the markets below must switch to a Fiber internet plan prior to 5/31/204 to avoid service disconnection. See below for instructions.

  • Jena, LA
  • Jonesville, LA
  • Bunkie, LA
  • Collins, MS
  • Crossett, AR

Customers in markets where fiber is not yet available will not immediately experience any changes to their cable internet service.

Once fiber is available in their market, customers will have 60 days to switch to a fiber plan to avoid disconnection.


We encourage all customers with legacy services to switch as soon as possible. To switch into a fiber internet plan or to add SwyftTV streaming services to either a fiber or cable internet plan, please take one of the following actions prior to 5/31/2024:

  1. Call (833) 467-9938 and speak to a representative
  2. Visit https://my.swyftconnect.com and log into your Swyft account, select your new services, and then schedule your installation.
  3. If you have not already created an account, click to https://portalsignup.swyftconnect.com to create your account and get login credentials. You will then be able to manage and change your services.

Please note that the installation fee will be waived for existing customers who process their order by their end-of-service date. This is a $250 savings.
